Study snacks…

My last blog was about studying and how you can do it effectively, but in order to study a lot of us like to snack (me included). The problem is many people either snack too much or on the wrong food or both. This can make it harder to focus as you aren’t eating food that is going to nourish your body and keep you full. So here I have compiled a list of foods to enjoy while you’re studying:

Food wastage and how to prevent it…

This is something I haven’t yet talked about on my blog but have been meaning to for a while. Food wastage is costing families thousands of dollars a year and is costing the world’s economy nearly $1 trillion every year. While we may not be able to do a whole lot for the food wastage of other people, we can for ourselves. If enough people are actively trying to prevent food wastage, it can make big impacts on society.

A lifestyle not a diet

People often assume that the reason I don’t eat sugar and processed food is because I am on a diet and it is something I am partaking in short-term to lose weight. The definition of a diet (according to google) is “restrict oneself to small amounts or special kinds of food in order to lose weight.” Which, for me is a limited way of looking at  what should a wholistic approach.
